Bella Shmrda shares how his decision to pursue full time has benefited him
Nigerian Singer, Bella Shmurda has shared his gratitude to Poco Lee and Olamide for taking a chance on him as well his decision to leave school so as to pursue music.
The singer who came to popularity with the breakthrough hit, “Vision 2020″ is reflecting on his journey in the music industry so far and the decision he took to get there.
The singer in a series of tweets thanked Poco Lee for encouraging him to shoot the video for ‘Vison 2020” and Olamide for giving him a listening ear and sponsoring the music video of the song.
He wrote;
“Thank God I was stubborn and I never got to pass those exams then. Big thanks to @Poco__lee for telling me to do that vision2020 viral video, shoutout to @Olamide for his listening ears and open hands for upcoming acts.”
In another tweet, he shared the benefit of him leaving school to pursue music full-time.

He wrote;

Bella Shmurda came to limelight in 2020 after the remix of his song, “Vision 2020” featuring Olamide went viral. After that, he dropped his “High Tension” EP and dominated charts that same year with the hit, “Cashapp” which featured Zlatan.
In 2021, he released another Ep “High Tension Vol 2” and has collaborations with artists like Zlatan, Pocaan, Wizkid, Runtown among others.
He also made his debut at the O2 in 2021 thanks to Wizkid who hosted a 3-days concert at the prestigous event location.
