Dele Adeleke eventually responds to his cousin, Davido.
-
Dele delivered a lengthy statement in which he expressed his love for Davido’s late mother.
-
The politician also revealed that he has been intimidated by Davido’s fans, but he is undeterred in his determination to run against their uncle.
Dele Adeleke, Davido’s cousin, has finally responded to Davido after he humiliated him for involving his late mother in his political ambitions.
You may recall Davido criticizing Dele for running for the same seat in Osun State that their uncle, Ademola Adeleke, is running for.
Dele Adeleke was once again called out by Davido for disparaging his mother in an article.
According to Davido, Dele is ungrateful, and he can’t believe his cousin could say such things about his mother after she assisted him when she was still living.
He also stated that Dele is saying all the garbage from the house his father gave him.
In response to Davido’s drags and shout-outs, Dele declared that he never said anything negative about Davido’s mother.
According to him, it is bogus news spread by persons looking for clout.
In his lengthy note to the artist, he revealed that he lost his mother when he was a child and that he didn’t want anyone to make fun of her or her memory.
He also emphasized he understands how much his mother meant to him and how the singer’s fans had been coming for him.
He went on to explain that because Davido is the king of social media, a lot of his supporters have threatened him, but he doesn’t believe he sent them.
He also stated that Davido should not drag him because of his Uncle’s intention to run for Governor.
Dele informed Davido that he is free to use his democratic right to vote for anyone he believes is the best candidate for the job.
Dele also stated that he has maintained decorum in the face of provocation, regardless of politics, and that he respects Davido’s decision to endorse their uncle, Ademola Adeleke, for governor of Osun state.

He wrote;
“@davido
,
Dear David,
For whatever this is worth to you, please note that I lost my mother at a tender age like you and would never allow anyone to denigrate her nor her memory.
I will NEVER write nor say anything against my Auntie Vero, who I cherish dearly….
You are the king of social media & you definitely know people take it upon themselves to write whatever they believe will give them clout.
So many of your fans came to my SM handles to threaten me and some even asked me to go and die. Did you send them to threaten my life?.
I seriously doubt it and I do not believe you will do such thing.
So, irrespective of politics, please note that I am not that kind of person; I have maintained decorum in the face of provocation and I will continue to do so.
I respect your decision and choice to support Uncle Demola and that is the beauty of democracy.
It is possible we can all make our individual choices without rancour and bitterness. We can all follow different paths and still live as one big, happy family.
The people of Osun, greatly deserving the best, will give the job to who they so deem fit and may the #Best man win #OSUN2022
You will always remain dear to me.

Davido finally answered, telling him that his lengthy explanation on Twitter would not get him votes and that he should take off the mask he was wearing (Stop pretending).
