Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage made headlines twice in 2021 for the wrong reasons. The first was a fight was in June between her and another pop queen, Seyi Shay.
To the surprise of their fans, the two female singers threw caution to the wind and engaged in a ‘fight’ in a Lagos saloon. They were seen being pulled apart in a viral video, and many people criticized their actions.
Tiwa then experienced a major setback when her s3x-tape was discovered on the internet.
The singer had previously disclosed that her s3x tape, which was accidentally uploaded on Snapchat, was being used to blackmail her. She resolved to herself that she would never yield to such blackmail.
But to her surprise, the blackmailer made good his threat and released the video online. The scandal made her one of the most searched names on Google for 2021.
Rudeboy
Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy of the famed P-Square singing group made news this year after his wife Anita Okoye filed for divorce.
The information surrounding the shattered marriage emerged after the official divorce petition, which cited irreconcilable differences, was leaked.
It was also revealed that Anita Okoye and her three children moved to the United States a few months ago.
According to several claims, Anita was the suspected cause of P-square’s dissolution.
The couple has been married for 7 years and has been together for nearly 17 years.
2Baba
Just like Tiwa Savage, 2Baba made headlines in the news twice.
The first time was when his wife, Annie, took to Instagram alleging that the veteran singer “slept under the same roof” with his second baby mama, Ms. Pero Adeniyi and her three children, whom she had for the singer, while on vacation in Disneyland, California.
She also accused his family members of hating her which prompted some of 2baba’s family members to respond to the accusations.
The second time 2Baba was in the news for the wrong reasons was when Brymo said the singer accused him of sleeping with his wife and that the “African Queen” crooner employed goons to attack him.
Buju
Buju might be relatively new in the Industry but controversies are already stamped in his name.
In May of 2021, his alleged girlfriend, a Dr. Amira, accused him of domestic violence, claiming that she was the one who paid for his lifestyle as a musician and that other his girlfriends had previously told her about his abusive behaviour.
A friend of Dr. Amira’s had also come forward on her Instagram account, claiming to have seen Buju fly into a rage and stating that while she was eager to testify in court, her friend was not coming forward for money or clout.
Buju’s second round of controversy revolved around tweets from the past. Some Twitter users apparently conducted a search of his previous tweets and discovered receipts dating back to 2016 in which he trashed various Nigerian music singers, including Wizkid, Davido, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, and others.
These discoveries did not sit well with Wizkid and Davido fans, who went on to slam the singer.
Buju had then responded with a video that indicated he was unconcerned before taking the high road and apologized for his conduct, claiming he had no idea he would later release music, demonstrating his ability to withstand the flames of controversy.

Burna Boy
It’s not news that scandals follow Burna Boy anywhere he goes.
In March of 2021, reports reached Mp3bullet.ng that Burna Boy and his men confronted Martins at Quilox club, where he was asked to prostrate for one of the boys of the Grammy nominee.
The disrespect caused an uproar in the club and it led to a physical clash leading to Obagoal slapping one of Burna’s boys.
Then, street rapper CDQ out of respect for Martins confronted Burna and his boys over the clash which also led to another physical fight from the two groups; leading to a video shared by the rapper of him bleeding.
As a matter of fact, the bicker went on for weeks, however, a call to order was restored by “senior men.”
