The Ghanaian Ghanaian Afrobeat singer Gyakie made the exciting lineup at the 2021 BET Africa Soul Cypher, a ceremony that celebrates all that is soul music related.
Talented Ghanaian singer-songwriter, Jackline Acheampong known professionally as Gyakie was been added to the exciting lineup for the 2021 BET Africa Soul Cypher, a celebration that honours all things linked to Soul music.
With some of the largest celebrities in Black culture and entertainment who have personified the sensitive genre with amazing vocal flourishes and powerful sentiments, the cypher covered four main thematics in Soul music: Black Love, Black Power, Black Joy, and Black Pride.

Gyakie pursued the Black Joy theme alongside South African musicologist, Manana and Tanzanian bongo musician, Lava Lava.
These musicians, like the others, performed soulful renditions of freestyle and original songs, demonstrating the influence of soul music from the 1970s to the present.

Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Ghanaian vocalist has overtaken Tems as the most-streamed female musician in Ghana on Spotify with the remix of her monster hit song “Forever” featuring Omah Lay.
