The Nigerian superstar Burna Boy is set to become the first Nigerian artist to perform at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden, according to a new teaser video released today.
Nigerian Grammy Award Winning star Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, will become the first Nigerian to headline a concert at the famous Madison Square Garden when he stages a concert at the venue sometime next year.
This was revealed in a video shared by the singer on Friday, the 10th of December 2021.
Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Burna Boy had his first headline show at the O2 Arena in London earlier this year, and it was a huge success.

Singers like Rema, Omah Lay, Ruger, and Ghana’s King Promise joined the artist on stage during the O2 concert. When Burna came to the event on a spacecraft, he provided fans with an unforgettable experience.
This year, the singer also performed his first Hollywood Bowl show, which was sold out, as well as a Paris event with a 20k capacity crowd.
He has also just revealed that he would do a stadium show in the United Kingdom next year.
Burna Boy recently shared a video teaser in which he imitated a conversation with Madison Square Garden, in which the latter invited him to visit and be the first Nigerian to headline the venue.
