The talented afrobeat superstar Wizkid has been awarded African Artiste of the Year at the Annual Apple Music Awards, according to an announcement made today on the Apple website.
Today, Apple revealed the winners of their annual Apple Music Awards, with Nigerian international superstar Wizkid winning African Artist of the Year.
The list was shared via the Apple website on Tuesday, the 30th of November 2021.
Recall, This year has been fantastic for the Starboy, with his single, Essence, breaking its way into the worldwide arena and bringing him several honours.

Big Wiz has already been nominated for two Grammy Awards next year, and he now holds the majority of the Billboard charts.
This has been the finest year for African music in a long time, and Big Wiz has been at the forefront of that trend.
Apple Music announced Wizkid as the African Artist of the Year on their website, listing his accomplishments this year.
