The Grammy dream is slowly taking shape for Wizkid as his album, “Made In Lagos” is in consideration for 10 categories for the forthcoming Grammy Nominations.
Recall that In October, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Wizkid received a Grammy Nomination consideration thanks to his “Made In Lagos” album.
Apparently, the album isn’t just being considered for one category which is the Global Music Album but ten different categories.
The categories include Album of the Year, Global Music Album, Engineered Album (Dro), Song of the Year (Essence), Record of the Year, Global Music Performance, Music Video, Melodic Rap Performance (Long Time), Best Rap, Producer of the Year (P2J).

Recall, Burna Boy won in the category, Global Music album this year for his outstanding ‘Twice as Tall’ album.
Big Wiz also earned a Grammy award for his contribution to Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl,” which received the 63rd Grammy Award for “Best Music Video.”
If the afrobeat star gets nominated and wins an award in any category, it will make it his second Grammy award.
Given the album’s success in the international market in less than a year, it won’t be a surprise to many should it be nominated for the prestigious award.
Recall that the album became the first African album to be nominated for a Soul Train Award at the same time, Big Wiz alongside Tems was nominated for five categories in the 2021 edition of the Award.
