Cinematographers or Video Directors play a huge part in the Nigerian Music Industry, helping to bring our favourite songs to life and TG Omori is one of these few persons.
TG Omori didn’t always start out as a Cinematographer, his first job in the entertainment industry was as an actor, few years later he would become the brain being most of the aesthetically pleasing music videos we watch on TV.

Teni-Billionaire
While the song was a hit when it came out, the video made it better. In the video, TG Omori tells the story of an ambitious Teni who dreams of becoming a Billionaire deciding to enter the “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire“.
The Video was an interesting visual to watch as it featured a cameo from Frank Edoho who was the host of the real-life “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” game show. We also get to see popular Instagram comedian Broda Shaggi play his comical self as Teni’s friend who she calls for help during the show.
Naira Marley X Zlatan- Am I a Yahoo Boy
“Am I a Yahoo Boy” was released during an interesting point in Naira Marley’s life. The song was a response to the accusations that he was a Yahoo guy given his supports for Cybercriminals. Therefore, it was important the music video conveyed the message of the song and TG didn’t dissapoint.
The Colorful visuals show the complicated relationship between the Police force and Youths who are profiled as Yahoo guys whether or not they are one.
Fireboy DML- Vibration
The Music video for “Vibration” is a range of colourful but dark-toned transitions. The video balances dark gothic themes with happy ones without losing sight of the song’s message. We also get to see a beautiful display of the salsa dance.

Burna Boy- Odogwu
This writer would consider this video one of TG’s creative works for a reason, the smooth ease with the way he blends traditions and Modern lifestyle. Most directors, given the song, would have probably chosen to shoot this in a rural area to convey an Africanistic view but TG chose differently.
Using Modern landscape as a canvas, he paints a beautiful picture of the Igbo culture- take for example the scene where Burna Boy is in a Jacuzzi being surrounded by a chief Priest holding a live Chicken or where you see men wearing traditional attires in a supermarket.
This video would have seemed ridiculous if not properly done but TG manages to find a perfect balance between two worlds, showing Burna as the New King of a music dynasty who has brought a new twist to an old genre.
Oxlade- Away
With beautiful aerial and Landscape shots and rustic town themes, “Away” is an aesthetically appealing video to watch.
TG perfectly captures the love story of two lovebirds with obstacles in form of family members on their path to freedom. Though not your usual Romeo and Juliet kind of story, “Away” holds viewers spellbound with every frame.
Joeboy- Call
Set in an apocalyptic Lagos, “Call” video tells the story of a Futuristic dystopian, sci-fi love story. Every shot and frame is engaging and easy on the eye.
DJ Neptune ft Joeboy, Mr Eazi- Nobody
“Nobody” Video is a fun ride, it pays homage to the King of Pop, Micheal Jackson as we see Joeboy, DJ Neptune and Mr Eazi dressed in Micheal Jackson’s attires set to impress a love interest.

Naira Marley- Soapy
While “Soapy” is a raunchy song, the video tells a different story. It features the same guys who got arrested alongside Naira Marley and Zlatan alongside several others in a large prison cell.
We get to watch fights, power plays and others go among the inmates in the prison cell. Of Course, the video won’t be complete without the Legwork and the controversial soapy dance.
