The NAACP has unveiled its 2021 nominees for its annual Image Awards which celebrates the work of artists of color and those advocating for social justice through art.
Nigerian Artists, Davido and Tiwa Savage were nominated for the category for Outstanding International Song.
Davido‘s ‘Tanana‘ which features Tiwa was nominated and Tiwa’s ‘Temptation‘ featuring Sam Smith was also nominated.
They were also nominated alongside Koffee and Buju Banton. In the whole music categories, Beyoncé leads with six nominations, including the female artists’ category.
Wizkid was also nominated as a result of Brown Skin Girl being nominated for the Outstanding Music Vidoe/Visual Album category.

The NAACP Image Award is an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to honor outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.
The 2021 NAACP Image Awards will air March 27 at 5 p.m. Pacific on BET.
