Peruzzi shared how the recent rape allegation against him inspired his new single “Lagbaja”
DMW singer, Peruzzi returned to social media after several weeks of absence announcing his new single “Lagbaja”.
Peruzzi was accused of rape in June by a certain lady, however, during the heat of the controversy, the singer refuted the allegations.
However, old tweets of his talking about rape were dug up by Twitter users. Also, recall that in February Peruzzi was accused of sexual harassment and fraud by a lady.
The singer was forced to take a break from social media until a few days ago when he returned with his new single announcement.
In a new interview with Gbedu, the ‘Majesty’ hitmaker revealed the inspiration for his latest tune while weighing in on the rape accusation.
According to him he has never raped anyone and will never be a rapist. He also said that period was a sad time for him with the whole rape story around his name. Thanks to good company he was able to pull through.
Peruzzi speaking on ‘Lagbaja’ said his accuser was largely unknown to him, hence he also used the situation as an inspiration for his new song.
