Award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has hinted on collaboration with fast-rising Nigerian music act Tems.
Wizkid who also recently dropped a hint on the completion of his new album Love Lagos took to his twitter handle to inform Nigerian music lovers about what should be a great collaboration.
Famous for her 2019 hit song ‘Try me’, Tems has been tipped alongside Rema, Jobeoy, and Fireboy DML to be the next big thing in the Nigerian music scene.
Tems who started her music career with the release of her first single ‘Mr Rebel’ in 2018, had her major breakthrough in the Nigerian music scene after the release of her 2019 hit track ‘Try me.’
The fast-rising music star who is yet to release an album has three tracks to her name ‘Mr. Rebel’ released in 2018, and Try me and ‘Looku Looku’ in 2019.
Tems’ Try me was nominated for Best vocal performance and best alternative song categories at the headies award in 2019 but failed to win any of her nominations.
Will Wizkid and Tems create a hit track worthy of competing in the every buzzing Nigerian music scene?
This question will be adequately answered when the collaboration is released.
