Real Madrid celebrate La Liga title win with bus parade
Real Madrid commemorated their 2023/24 La Liga conquest on Sunday, parading through the streets of the Spanish capital aboard an open-top bus. The jubilant squad, led by manager Carlo Ancelotti and president Florentino Perez, celebrated their championship win, reclaiming the title from rivals Barcelona the previous week. At their Valdebebas training ground, RFEF president Pedro Rocha presented the trophy to the triumphant team on Sunday morning.
Despite a 4-0 victory over relegated Granada on Saturday night, in a match with a heavily rotated starting lineup, Madrid still has three more La Liga fixtures to fulfill before their upcoming clash with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on Saturday, June 1.
Initially scheduled after the semi-final showdown with Bayern Munich, where late goals from Joselu secured their path to the final at Wembley Stadium, the title celebrations were postponed until now.

“This is a special league title for Real Madrid, because we’ve won it with the values of a team,” Perez said.
“Everything we’ve done is thanks to effort, hard work, humility. This team has overcome a lot of adversity, with a lot of injuries, and they’ve come through it. [Thibaut] Courtois, [Eder] Militao and [David Alaba] are an example of how to overcome.
“This 36th league title is ‘the league of overcoming.’ History obliges us to keep winning and the other day we had another magical night at the Bernabeu. We’ll give everything to win the 15th [European Cup].”
