Europa League: Casemiro names four Man Utd players he can help.
Brazilian professional footballer Carlos Henrique Casimiro, known as Casemiro has named four Man Utd players he can help
Casemiro has identified the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford as players he can help this season. He made this statement while discussing the role that Man United manager Erik ten Hag has asked him to play at the club.
He asserted that Rashford, Sancho, Fernandes, and Ronaldo are on the field to score goals, so he defends to keep the team balanced and aid his Red Devils teammates in achieving their goals.
The Brazilian’s arrival at Old Trafford this summer saw Ten Hag strengthen his midfield with a much-needed combination of steel and experience.

“I think the goals have to come naturally. Everybody knows my work. My role is defensive — to help my teammates and bring the ball out from the back with quality. That’s my job, if goals come from it, excellent. We have other players whose first thought is to be scoring goals,” Casemiro told the club’s in-house media ahead of their Europa League tie with Omonoia on Thursday.
“There’s Cris [Cristiano Ronaldo], [Jadon] Sancho, [Marcus] Rashford and Bruno [Fernandes]. They are on the pitch to score goals. I defend, first of all, and provide balance to the team.
“I help my teammates with defensive work, bring the ball out with quality, that is my job. Of course, a goal here or there is nice but doing my job and defending well comes first.”
