Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie wins at 2019 BET Hip-Hop award on the 5th of October 2019.
The rap boss whose name is “Micheal Owusu Addo “ , popularly known as Sarkodie proved himself a true legend as he emerge as one of the winners in the 2019 BET ( black entertainment television ) awards which was held at Cobb energy performing arts center in Atlanta Georgia , US.
This new category “Best international flow “ had other nominees which include ; Nigerian Falz the bad guy , Kalash from France , Nasty C from South Africa , Ghetts , and Lil Simz from the UK. However , Sarkodie emerged victorious.
After receiving the grand award , he gave an acceptance speech in which he gave glory to God , thanked his family for support especially his baby girl , “Titi ” , he also confessed that deep down , he always knew that there was great talent in Africa and urged Africans abroad that it was time to take a trip back home .
He said:
“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home.”
