In the 2022–2023 club football season, Haaland, who recently joined the Cityzens, has had a dominant run in both the Premier League and the Champions League as the Norwegian is the leading goal scorer in both competitions.
Haaland who had scored two goals in the 5-0 riot over Copenhagen had been subbed off in the second half of the game which was played on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. The young striker would be looking to continue his formidable run in the premier league against Southampton.
Pep denied rumours that Erling Haaland is having the time of his life at the English club, claiming that there is no such clause in his current contract.
He said:
There’s no specific clause for Erling Haaland to join Real Madrid, it’s not true. I have the feeling he is incredibly happy at Man City.
