Nigerian Twitter users have taken to their twitter page to remember Legendary indigenous rapper Dagrin who died in a car crash 10 years ago.

Still very confused over the scenarios and the signs leading to his death, Nigerians who were deeply touched by the death of one of the best rappers of his time still have questions regarding the incidents that led to the cause of his death.

While some were of the opinion that the rapper was involved in shady stuff, other believed that the signs he showed before passing on were normal signs that someone who knows that he /she was going to lose her life showed.

Stealing the number 1 trend spot on twitter with the hashtag #Dagrin10yrs , the late indigenous rapper though had a very short rap career remains one of the artists that held the Nigerian music scene to a standstill in less than 5 years.

Dagrin who had only 3 albums released at the peak of his career (between 2009 and 2010) released his first album in 1994 and had two albums released after his demise in 2011 and 2016 respectively.

The Lyrical weyrey, Barrack O Green, Fimile Jo were the names that the former Misofunyin entertainment man was also famous with asides from his stage name Dagrin.

Taking to their different twitter handle to remember the indigenous rap legend, tweets by different Nigerians read:

Most Nigerians who have been born then knew you were indeed a great Icon before you died!

You paved ways for other Indigenous Rap artistes in Nigeria which I won't mention..

10yrs ago today, we lost a young and super talented icon, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, also known as DaGrin. He initiated and paved the way for the street style & sounds you hear today. Rest on King. 👑🙏🏾🇳🇬 #Dagrin10yrs #DaGrin pic.twitter.com/uaxUfdcevJ
