    This slight scenario started when Hiptv, the Organizer of the “Headies” award took to their twitter page to share a photo of Mr. Eazi and his girlfriend, Temi Otedola on it’s Twitter page.

    Captioning the Picture; they wrote; 

    “@jtofashion x @mreazi Feeling like Tony Montana and Elvira ???? both in that new #JTOxOC collection.”

    Apparently, they meant well with their post but didn’t see the singer’s reply coming.

    Replying their post; he wrote;

    Instead, make u gimme my car u dey here dey tweet couple goals”

    From his post, it seems this throwing shade at the organizers of the award and alleging that they didn’t give him the car he won at 2016’S Headies.

    “Mp3bullet.ng” reports that In 2016; Mr. Eazi won at the Headies under the “Next Rated” category, defeating the likes of  Ycee and Tekno who was later on disqualified. Thus, his price for winning the award was a brand new car.

    Hiptv is however yet to reply to his tweet, so we do not know if he was saying the truth, or just playing around.

    Still, this is a huge one from him, surely questioning the credibility of the award show.

    Many other people also came out to claim that “Headies” owed quite a number of artists cars which they were supposed to be gifted for winning. According to them, these artists include; “Mayorkun” and the latest “Next rated” winner; Rema.
