LADIPOE has ushered in a new chapter in his career with the arrival of his long-awaited sophomore album, REVIVAL, his first full-length body of work since the critically acclaimed T.A.P. (Talk About Poe).
The 16-track project sees the Nigerian rap star surrounded by an impressive cast of collaborators, including Teni, Ema Onigah, Maglera Doe Boy, Taves, Pa Salieu, GonaBoy, Jastin Martin, Majeeed, Morien, and Ayo Maff.
Together, they help shape an album that effortlessly blends rap, Afrobeats, soul, and contemporary African sounds while allowing LADIPOE’s storytelling to remain front and centre.
Rather than simply delivering punchlines and clever wordplay, the project takes listeners through themes of identity, purpose, ambition, resilience, faith, and personal growth. The journey begins with Chosen, an emotional opener that combines gospel-inspired instrumentation with reflective lyrics before ending on a touching voice note from the rapper’s mother.
