This is an Intensive Reflection on Ycee’s unbeatable runs and supremacy in the Nigerian music industry.
Ycee waves were extraordinary as a hip-hop artist, apparently one of the hottest eras in Nigeria’s hip-hop scene.
In 2015, “Condo,” “Jagaban” and “Omo Alhaji” came out, “Jagaban” and “Omo Alhaji” were sure-banger, viral hits that earned Ycee, among other awards, the Revelation of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards of the same year.
The songs took out the street around 2016 and dominated the airwaves, introducing supremacy in street hop.
Omo Alhaji was accompanied by a great visual that topped most music television around the country.
Apparently, the singles were enough for a lengthy time, which however prevented Ycee from releasing an album or EP around the time frame.
