A Foreign fan of Nigerian Singer Adekunle Gold has reached out to him on Twitter to beg him to reduce the usage of Yoruba in his songs.
The fan who revealed that she is from Uganda asked the Jore crooner to use more of English in his song as he was not loved by Nigerians only.
Triggering the Ugandan National’s plea was popular African Bank’s twitter handle @UBAgroup who asked their followers who they will pick from Adekunle Gold, Tiwa Savage, Onyeka Onwenu and Wizkid to write a perfect love song for them if they had N50 million naira.
Calling on Adekunle Gold to use more of English the Ugandan fan tweeted:
Can someone tell Adekunle Gold to use more of English in his songs. We love him too in Uganda, but we don’t understand his Yoruba lyrics.
