Falz in collaboration with Charly boy has released a diss track for fake pastors in new song God of Men
The duo who came together to make an Afrobeat track dedicated to revealing the bad deed of fake pastors adopted the Fela Kuti originated Afropop genre for the track.
The track which chorused ‘Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, na wetin dem dey take deceive us’ sounded so much like a remake of Fela Kuti’s Coffin for Head of State.
Calling out pastors who leave their pastoral duty to deceive the people of God, Charley Boy in the song asked who called the pastor concluding that God has not flashed him

“Who call you, God never flash you”, this was the lines of a verse sang by Charlie boy.
In his verse, he further went on to call Fake pastors armed robber:
” Na bible be your gun, you stand for alter dey rob, you be rubber.
Na prophesy be your jazz you turn church to kalokalo you be thief you be robber robber”
Falz in his verse frowned at fake pastors who take advantage of young girls.
His verse: You tell me say make i touch not your anointed,
But your anointed dey touch our young girls.
Na why prosperity dey always be the problem
Falz and Charley Boy should really be commended for using a creative remake of Fela Kuti’s Coffin for Head of State to speak up against fake pastors.
