I’m done with the ladies; my upcoming album features only males – Eno Barony.
Over the years, the Ghanaian music industry has faced challenges in supporting female artists, particularly those in the rap genre like Eno Barony.
However, in a recent interview with Emcee Bebe on the “Entertainment Rekords” show, Barony emphasized the need for female artists to collaborate and elevate their presence in the industry, striving to surpass their male counterparts.
Eno Barony’s determination to break male dominance led her to release an all-female album in 2020 titled “Ladies First.” Now, she has her sights set on a new project an all-male album to be released by the end of 2023, featuring top male artists in the Ghanaian music scene.
In a virtual interview with Emcee Bebe on July 15, 2023, broadcasted on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM, Eno Barony unveiled her plans for the upcoming album.
As a reminder, Barony, born Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, is a renowned Ghanaian female rapper and songwriter. Her journey began in 2014 when she gained fame with her hit single “Tonga,” following earlier recordings like “Pull Me Out.”
