In an unexpected revelation that has set social media abuzz, Nigerian rap heavyweight Olamide has admitted he’s left behind his love for traditional Nigerian dishes in favor of more upscale, health-conscious meals.

The YBNL boss confessed during a candid chat with popular content creator Korty EO. When asked the seemingly simple question, “What’s your favorite food?” Olamide’s answer took an amusingly surprising turn.

“Food? I’m not a big fan of food,” he said coolly, before bursting into laughter and adding, “But I can k*ll for broccoli.”

Korty, caught off guard, echoed the sentiment with a stunned “Broccoli?” her disbelief matching that of many fans watching. But Olamide stood firm, proudly expressing his preference for cleaner eats like broccoli, sea bass, lamb chops, and even caviar.

When pushed about whether he still enjoys local staples like amala, the rapper got real:

“Those things, man… Man’s gonna be like bloated all day. All because I want to chop? Nah. I need to be comfortable.”

It’s a bold shift from the streetwise rapper who once celebrated indigenous sounds and lifestyle. But as fans have noted, it’s also a sign of growth, maturity, and a possible wellness-era Olamide.

From “Baddo Sneh” to “Broccoli King,” the evolution continues — and fans can’t stop talking.

KORTY: So, you no dey eat amala and all those things?
