    A fresh wave of tension has surfaced online as singer T-Dot waded into the ongoing exchange between Afrobeats heavyweight Davido and DJ DJ Tunez, adding more fuel to an already heated situation.

    The drama initially picked up after DJ Tunez, who works closely with Wizkid, posted a gym photo of Wizkid with the caption “Original, no be fake,” a line many interpreted as a subtle jab at Davido following comparisons between their outfits.

    Davido didn’t take it lightly. The Afrobeats star fired back on X with a series of posts aimed at DJ Tunez, referencing a past altercation involving Burna Boy and his team, while also lacing his replies with heavy criticism.

    “You’re just a disgusting nasty fellow. Dem use boot carry your steeze forever. Idiot.”

    As the exchange gained traction, T-Dot stepped in to defend DJ Tunez, pushing back against narratives that he had been “humiliated” in the earlier incident. According to him, the DJ showed bravery despite being outnumbered.

    “Tunez can never lose his steeze for that. He was 1vs10 and punched your besty right in the mouth when he saw they meant him harm. Where I’m from that shows heart. You never stood no where on this earth 10 toes down without your dad’s money, security, and your boys.”

    That comment appeared to strike a nerve, with Davido responding by rejecting the recurring claim that his success is tied solely to his father’s wealth.

    “Your daddy your daddy nah only thing Una know … why ur papa no hustle … shut up n slide for Tunez.”

    He further added:

    “Na frustration you see inherit from your papa e reach to dey vex,” Davido wrote.

    The back-and-forth has since intensified conversations on social media, with fans on both sides weighing in as the online rivalry continues to unfold in real time.
