While Afrobeat star David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, might not be active online, the singer seems to be strengthening his relationship with God following a video of him preaching with a bible verse surfaced.
In the video posted on Instablog9ja, the OBO Crooner was seen holding a bible and reciting passages from the Bible while a friend was filming him.
Once he completed reciting a particular verse, the person filming him hailed him, which shocked the audience.
Reading Psalm 20:1, Davido said;
“May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.”
Fans of Davido flocked to the blog’s comment area to express their opinions on the video. The powerful declarations from the bible text received several “Amen” responses.

Following the passing of his son Ifeanyi, Davido declared last year that he would take a hiatus from music. He pledged to return to the music-making process in March 2023 and reassured his fans that he would not disappoint them.
As soon as March arrived, his countless followers on social media platforms expected his much-anticipated return to music and the social media sphere, where he had not posted since.
Davido rarely posts about his life or what he is up to on Instagram, despite having the most followers of any celebrity in Nigeria (26.4 million). He last posted on December 19, 2022, when he greeted his followers and loved ones with a happy holiday season.
According to reports, Davido, who was seen in Ikoyi with Charlyboy on the day of the Presidential election, is making all the necessary preparations to take over the music industry when his tour resumes the following month.
