Sensational Nigerian singer Cobhams Asuquo has expressed his displeasure over the recent happenings in the world.
Cobhams who took to his social media page to express his displeasure asked what is happening to the world.
Referring to the recent cases of Uwaila Omozua who was raped and brutally murdered, Tina who was shot by men of the police force and George Floyd who died in the hands of cops in Minnesota, Cobhams asked what has happened to Love and dignity.
Taking to his social media page to express his displeasure, Cobhams wrote:
Uwaila Omozua, raped and brutally murdered in a church, of all places; Tina Ezekwe a victim of someone meant to protect her and George Floyd’s unimaginable death in the hands of cops.
What’s happening in the world? What has happened to love and the dignity of human life?…..Are we just beginning to see what has always been there? After these trend, what will we do next as humans? We CANNOT afford to be desensitized by the frequency of these unfortunate events. It CANNOT be the new normal. We CANNOT grow numb. We were made to love and respect….
