Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £50 million price tag on England winger Noni Madueke, amid intensifying interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The 23-year-old, who is currently on Club World Cup duty in the United States, is believed to be keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Mikel Arteta’s side said to have already agreed personal terms with the winger ahead of a formal bid.
Madueke joined Chelsea from Dutch club PSV Eindhoven for £30 million in January 2023, and the Blues are now hoping to secure a significant profit should Arsenal follow through with their interest.
According to reports from The Telegraph, Arsenal are lining up an official approach, with the Gunners boss looking to add depth and creativity to his attacking options as preparations for the new season gather pace.
Speaking on Madueke’s situation, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca hinted at a possible exit.
“Noni has been very important for us,” Maresca said. “But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us.
“The ones that are not happy, they are free to go. Noni has been very good during the season.”
Arsenal, who are reshaping their squad for a fresh title charge, have also been linked with wide options including Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze, and Spain’s Nico Williams.
Meanwhile, the Gunners on Tuesday confirmed the acquisition of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. The 26-year-old Spanish midfielder joins on a long-term deal after Arsenal activated his reported £51 million release clause.
Zubimendi, fresh off a Euro 2024 title-winning campaign with Spain, was previously tracked by Liverpool and Real Madrid, but Arsenal managed to secure his signature following a long-term pursuit.
With the midfield now reinforced, attention turns to adding firepower to Arsenal’s flanks—and Madueke remains a key name on their radar.
