Carlo Ancelotti has addressed the swirling speculation about his future following Real Madrid’s painful exit from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Arsenal.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, the veteran Italian manager admitted he’s uncertain about his fate at the club but expressed hope that the clash against the Gunners wouldn’t be his last European night in charge of Los Blancos.
“I don’t know if this one was my last UCL game at Real Madrid, and I don’t want to know,” Ancelotti said. “We had a fantastic era. We still have La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the Club World Cup.”
Madrid were a shadow of themselves over both legs of the quarter-final tie, crashing out 5-1 on aggregate. The first leg at the Emirates saw them slump to a 3-0 defeat, while the return fixture at the Bernabéu ended in a 2-1 loss.
While the disappointment stings, Ancelotti shifted focus to the remaining competitions, urging the squad to bounce back and channel their frustration into securing the La Liga title, Copa del Rey, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
For Madrid fans, Ancelotti’s uncertain tone raises questions about a possible managerial change this summer, but for now, the hope is that the team will regroup and finish the season strong on all other fronts.
