    Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, has achieved another milestone in his career on the international scene at the BandLab NME Awards 2022.

    The Grammy award-winning artist has added another feather to his international cap after receiving a top category award at the BandLab NME Awards 2022, which took place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the 02 Academy Brixton in London.

    The African giant was crowned the Best Solo Act In The World at the award ceremony in a category that had top nominations that included Arlo Parks, Billie Eilish, Dave, Little Simz, Pyra, Rina Sawayama, Sam Fender, Tkay Maidza and The Weeknd.

    Despite the fact that the “Kilometre” crooner was not physically present at the ceremony, his acceptance speech was broadcast.
