Wizkid and Beyonce call on dark-skinned girls for the video shoot of their hit song “Brown skin girl”
The song “Brown skin girl ” was released on July 23rd, 2019 off Beyonce’s latest album “The lion king: Thr gift”.
“Brown skin girl” Involved a unique collaboration of Queen bee herself, Nigeria’s Wizkid, Blue Ivy( Beyonce’s daughter), and Saint Jhn.
The song which became a massive jam the moment it dropped celebrates the beauty of dark-skinned African girls.
After much delay, they finally started shooting the video yesterday the 3!st of October, across different locations in London.
British tabloid; Sarah Parker made it public that Beyonce is calling on black and brown people of different cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, genders, and ages’ to come and tell their stories.
This video is directed by London bred Nigerian; Nkiru Jenn.
This will mark the second time Nkiru is working with Beyonce as ‘she was the director of Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s hit song “Apeshit” in 2018. The incredible video was shot at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
