Nigerian music star Peter Okoye (Mr. P) has made a noteworthy disclosure in the ongoing Lagos State High Court trial involving his elder brother, Jude Okoye, who faces allegations of misappropriating $1 million.

Peter revealed that he and his twin, Paul Okoye, are co-signatories on the Northside Entertainment Limited bank account, contradicting his earlier statement that Jude alone controlled the company’s finances.

Speaking before Justice Rahman Oshodi, Peter clarified that while Jude was originally the sole signatory, he and Paul were added to the account in later years.

“Despite being co-signatories, I never personally signed cheques or managed transactions,” Peter told the court.

The admission came during cross-examination by defence counsel Clement Onwuewunor, who presented official bank documents to challenge his earlier testimony.

Peter also addressed the ongoing dispute over the P-Square music catalogue, insisting that the nearly 100-song collection belongs solely to him and Paul.

He stressed that Jude was never an original member of the duo but became their manager around 2004 or 2005 without any formal written agreement.

The court has adjourned proceedings until May 15, 2026, for continuation. Fans of P-Square have closely followed the saga, with opinions divided over the family and financial tensions. Notably, Paul Okoye has publicly backed Jude, highlighting the complex dynamics among the Okoye siblings.
