Controversial American rapper and songwriter Kanye West has once again set social media buzzing after sharing a startling list of people he claims have betrayed him.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) that has since been deleted, the outspoken artist opened up about what he described as overwhelming emotional pain, stating that it was something “no one person can fix.” The message quickly drew attention, not just for its tone, but for the names he chose to highlight.
Kanye went on to publish a list he labelled “betrayals,” which included deeply personal figures such as his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and his daughter, North West. Popular online streamer IShowSpeed also appeared on the list, raising eyebrows among fans and observers.
Several well-known names from the music industry were mentioned as well, including Kid Cudi, Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti and the late King Von. The inclusion of fellow artists added fuel to ongoing speculation about Kanye’s strained relationships within the industry.
What further puzzled social media users was the appearance of unexpected and seemingly unrelated names. Kanye referenced fictional characters like Curious George and Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants, alongside public figures such as Donald Trump, LeBron James and Pete Davidson.
Part of the post read: “I am in pain that no one person can fix. The betrayal: Kim Kardashian, IShowSpeed, Diddy, Ty $, Harriet Tubman, North West, Pusha.”
He continued with another string of names, including “Freddie Gibson, Cudi, Curious George, Donald Trump, Pete Davidson, Patrick Star, LeBron James, King Von, Playboi Carti,” among others.
Although the post was swiftly removed, screenshots had already begun circulating online, sparking widespread debate and concern.
As with many of Kanye West’s social media moments, reactions remain divided between those expressing worry over his mental state and others criticising the public airing of such claims.
