Davido Announces Busy 2026: Coachella Debut, New Music, and Global Expansion

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled a packed lineup for 2026, including his highly anticipated debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, new music releases, and the continued global success of his hit Kante.
Speaking at a recent event, the global icon described his upcoming schedule as “very, very busy” and “so crazy,” reflecting his commitment to audiences both at home and abroad.
Davido will perform at Coachella for the first time on Saturday, April 11, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
He will be the only Nigerian act on the festival’s lineup, marking a historic moment for Afrobeats and highlighting his growing influence on the international stage.
The festival spans two weekends, April 10–12 and April 17–19, providing the perfect platform for Davido to showcase his energetic performances and signature sound.
In addition to his festival appearances, fans can expect new music in 2026, although it may not be a full album. Davido also celebrated the ongoing success of his Timeless album, with Kante gaining significant traction in the US market.
The announcement follows a string of recent accolades for the singer. At the 2025 Headies Awards, he won Artist of the Year and Digital Artist of the Year, outperforming competitors including Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Rema.
He also earned the Best Global Collaboration award at the 2025 Africa Arts Entertainment Awards alongside American singer Chris Brown for their hit Hmm.
With a historic Coachella debut, new music on the horizon, and global recognition continuing to rise, Davido is setting the stage for 2026 to be a defining year for both his career and Afrobeats worldwide.
