Blue Disco Is Coming! Young Jonn Announces New Album’s Official Release Date after brief delay

Nigerian hitmaker Young Jonn has finally locked in a new release date for his long-awaited album, Blue Disco.
Fans who’ve been eagerly counting down can now mark their calendars for Friday, November 28, 2025.
The singer-producer, born John Saviours Udomboso, had initially planned to drop the project on November 21 but postponed it just a day before the scheduled rollout.
At the time, Young Jonn cited the worsening insecurity across the country, describing the situation as “unbearable,” and urged for peace, unity, and responsible leadership.
With the new date confirmed, excitement around Blue Disco has only grown. The album cover, dominated by a striking blue portrait of Young Jonn, hints at the creative vision within.
Fans can expect a star-studded lineup, featuring collaborations with Rema, Olamide, Shenseea, Franglish, Focalistic, and two tracks each with Wizkid and Asake.
Blue Disco is set to further showcase Young Jonn’s evolution from one of Nigeria’s most successful producers to a fully-fledged recording artist.
Following a series of chart-topping singles, the album promises a fusion of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and global pop sounds, cementing his place among the leading voices in contemporary African music.
