Afrobeats megastar Davido is set to thrill fans in Kigali, Rwanda, as part of his much-anticipated global 5IVE Tour, bringing East Africa one step closer to the infectious energy of his world-class performances.

The concert, slated for Thursday, December 5, 2025, will take place at the iconic BK Arena, East Africa’s largest indoor venue with a 10,000-seat capacity.
The announcement, made on Monday, November 3, sent a wave of excitement through Rwandan social media, as fans eagerly began counting down to the night the “OBO” himself returns to their city.
The Kigali performance forms part of Davido’s international rollout for his fifth studio album, 5IVE, released in April 2025.
The project has earned rave reviews for its seamless blend of Afrobeats, R&B, reggaeton, and dancehall, cementing Davido’s reputation as one of Africa’s most versatile and globally celebrated artists.
This won’t be Davido’s first time commanding a Rwandan stage. Over the years, he has nurtured a warm relationship with Kigali, with memorable performances at major events like Giants of Africa and the Trace Awards & Festival in 2023, moments that left fans clamouring for his return.
Event organisers, Intore Entertainment, with SKOL Malt as the headline sponsor, described the upcoming concert as a “major win for Rwanda’s live entertainment scene.”
They noted that hosting a stop from the limited African leg of the 5IVE Tour signals growing confidence in the region’s concert infrastructure and fan culture.
Attendees can expect a high-octane show packed with hits from 5IVE alongside Davido’s chart-topping classics, including Fall, Unavailable, and Feel.
With anticipation running high, Kigali is gearing up for what promises to be one of East Africa’s most memorable nights of music, a celebration of rhythm, culture, and Davido’s undeniable star power.
