Spyro unveils debut album ‘The Men, The Boys & Your Guy’

Fast-rising Afrobeats sensation Spyro, the voice behind the viral anthem “Who Is Your Guy?“, has unveiled plans for his first full-length album, “The Men, The Boys & Your Guy,” set for release on Friday, September 26, 2025.
The announcement arrived with a cinematic 52-second trailer and striking cover art that immediately captivated fans. The artwork shows a black-and-white grid of men dressed in formal suits, with Spyro standing boldly at the center in a vivid red suit, a symbolic contrast that positions him as both part of the collective and a standout voice in the Afrobeats landscape.
The trailer further explores themes of growth and identity. It opens with a young boy watching television in a retro living room, representing innocence and early dreams.
A voiceover narrates Spyro’s evolution “from a boy chasing melodies with nothing but a dream” to becoming “the bridge between legends and the future.”

The visuals cut between snapshots of his influences, moments of struggle, and a dramatic shot of Spyro with glowing blue eyes before closing with the album’s title reveal.
The project’s name cleverly echoes his breakout single, Who Is Your Guy?, while hinting at deeper explorations of masculinity, legacy, and individuality. In the visuals, the monochrome figures embody “The Men” and “The Boys,” while Spyro, in color, represents “Your Guy,” the distinct presence who has forged his own path.
Already, the announcement has sparked widespread anticipation online. For Spyro, this debut album is more than a debut milestone; it’s a bold declaration of ambition and a testament to his determination to cement his place in the Afrobeats movement.
