One of the standout moments on the project is “Shege,” the third track on the EP. The song takes a more emotional turn as Young Jonn reflects on heartbreak, disappointment, and the difficult decision to walk away from a relationship where his feelings are not returned.
Through its catchy hook and blend of Nigerian Pidgin and Yoruba expressions, “Shege” captures the frustration of being mistreated, the pain of loving someone who does not feel the same way, and the need to eventually choose peace over an unhealthy relationship.
