Nigerian music star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has again captured the internet’s attention—this time with a playful yet insightful exchange about tattoos and family expectations.

In a now-viral video, Rema jokingly suggested that his friend Enzo should get a sword tattoo on his throat. Enzo, clearly amused, laughed off the idea, responding, “Sword at my throat? That means you have a holy throat right there,” before teasingly adding, “Mummy, please, I want to get a sword.”

Rema didn’t let up, replying with mock seriousness, “She will understand. Mummy, it is for a great cause.” Enzo then shared how his mother once gave him the silent treatment for days after he got braids—highlighting her strong stance on appearance changes.

But it was Rema’s final quip that truly set social media ablaze:
“Don’t worry, when we double our hustle and get more money, she will allow you. Dem no dey advise breadwinner o.”

The punchline instantly struck a chord online, with fans turning it into a viral phrase to describe everything from hustle culture to generational dynamics.

Many praised Rema for his blend of humor and truth, as the moment fueled memes and discussions across social platforms.
