UBA photographer reacts to rumors of Davido being their new brand ambassador
The head photographer at UBA, Tobi James, has addressed and dismissed rumors circulating on social media that Afrobeats superstar Davido is the new brand ambassador for the bank.
These speculations began after a user on the microblogging platform X (@it_Rutie) claimed that Davido had secured an endorsement deal with the renowned financial institution.
In response, Tobi James took to X to clarify the situation, stating that the reports were completely false.
He confirmed, in his role as UBA’s head photographer, that there was no truth to the rumors about Davido’s association with the bank as a brand ambassador.

A social media user, @abazwhyllzz, took to Twitter to recount how Davido’s endorsement motivated him to buy an Infinix phone.
The fan recalled purchasing the phone simply because it had Davido’s name on it, saying, “I remember a few years ago when I bought an Infinix phone because Davido made a post about it, and they used Davido’s name on the back of the phone. That is influence💯.”
In response, Davido promised to gift him the latest Infinix Note and extended the offer to seven other fans who can correctly recall the name of the customized Davido Infinix phone.
