She also shared a video of her personal favorite, “Smile For Me,” expressing that it holds a special place in her heart due to its nostalgic value.
“Simisola,” released under X3M Music, followed Simi’s debut album “Ogaju” and was praised for its unique sound and heartfelt lyrics. The album’s 7th anniversary highlights its lasting influence and enduring impact on the music scene.
This is my favorite Simi song ever. It's more about nostalgia now than any thing else, but it stays 🩷 #SmileForMe pic.twitter.com/ICqTRR9Zs6

Recall, Simi has shared how her perspectives on motherhood have changed since welcoming her daughter, Adejare. In a recent episode of The Roadshow on Cool FM, Simi revealed that she’s become a more hands-on mother than she ever thought she’d be.
When asked what she thought she’d never do but is now doing, Simi laughed, “Before I had my daughter, I used to say that I would have five nannies and my nanny would have a nanny; that’s not the case.” She revealed that she only gets nannies for her daughter when they’re in Nigeria, and in the States, she takes care of her alone.
Simi also shared that she’s taken up writing and is working on a novel. “I used to say that if I wasn’t an artiste, I would probably be a novelist,” she said.
