Speaking in an interview on Beats 99.9 FM’s morning drive show on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Ayra Starr, born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, discussed her collaborations with two of Nigeria’s leading Afrofusion stars, Asake and Seyi Vibez, despite rumors of a rift between the two artists.
The Mavins record label signee expressed her admiration for both Seyi Vibez and Asake, stating that she is a huge fan of their musical styles. Ayra Starr specifically mentioned her love for Seyi Vibez’s track “Different Pattern” and how it inspired her to reach out for a collaboration.
