Savage, who recently dropped a joint track with Simi titled ‘Men Are Crazy,‘ revealed her delight in collaborating with the ‘Duduke’ songstress.

During a recent interview on MTV Live, she described their partnership as “magical,” highlighting Simi’s status as “a queen in Afrobeats.”

She said, “My collaboration with Simi is titled ‘Men Are Crazy But I Still Want One In My Bed.’ The inspiration behind it is that men are crazy but we can’t do without them.

“Simi is somebody that I’ve always wanted to work with. She is a queen in Afrobeats so both of us coming together on such an amazing track is magical.”

Recall, Tiwa Savage opened up about the inspiration behind her musical journey.

The “Koroba” singer revealed that initially, her dream was to pursue acting. However, her path shifted towards music due to a crush she had on a man who was often surrounded by musicians.

In a recent interview with MTV, she shared that her crush’s proximity to the music scene led her to forsake her initial passion for acting and dive into the world of music.

Savage said, “I have always wanted to do acting. Acting was one of my first loves before music. I got into music because I had a crush on a guy and he was always around the musician so I said ‘yeah, forget acting and just go into music.’”
