Omah Lay’s debut album, “Boy Alone,” has achieved a remarkable feat by setting a Spotify album chart record for its exceptional longevity.

Maintaining its position within the top bracket on the charts for an impressive 90 weeks, it stands as the sole album to sustain such a position for such an extended period.

This accomplishment builds upon the record it previously set in 2023 as the only album released in 2022 to spend a year in both Apple Music and Spotify’s top tier.

Since its initial release, “Boy Alone” has consistently secured a place within the top 10 on the charts, further affirming its enduring impact and widespread popularity among listeners.

In addition, Omah Lay’s latest album has achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing Burna Boy’s album in stream rankings on the Boomplay streaming platform.

Titled “Boy Alone,” Omah Lay’s debut album has experienced a surge in stream numbers on Boomplay, catapulting it to the second spot in terms of most-streamed albums. This achievement displaces Burna Boy’s “Love Damini” to the third position, with Kizz Daniel’s “Maverick” leading the pack.

With an impressive stream count of 541.4 million, Omah Lay’s album has edged past Burna Boy’s 540.9 million streams. This milestone underscores Omah Lay’s growing dominance across various streaming platforms, firmly establishing him as a formidable presence in the music industry.
