Skales begs Olamide for a career-saving verse.
Nigerian rapper Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, professionally known as Skales, has made a public plea to hip-hop artist Olamide to add a verse to his song for his music career.
Skales shared a video on Twitter where he showcased a snippet of an unreleased song and expressed his desire for Olamide to collaborate with him on the track.
In the video, the ‘Shake Body‘ crooner tagged Olamide, singing a verse of the yet-to-be-released single whose title he did not disclose.
Skales also encouraged fans on Twitter to tag any artist they would like to hear record a verse on the song in anticipation of its official release. This public outreach to Olamide highlights Skales‘ eagerness for collaboration and the camaraderie within the Nigerian music industry.

Recall, Mp3bullet reported that Skales recalls how his music colleague, Olamide, assisted him during his financial crisis and changed his life.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Skales said that EME didn’t renew his contract because the label couldn’t generate money off of him, which led to him ending up homeless and broke.
He said Olamide called him and asked if he wasn’t going to shoot a video for his song ‘Shake Body.’
Skales, however, replied that he was broke and homeless. Olamide sent him money for the video shoot, after which the song became a success.
