    The Headies Award nominations have sparked a supremacy battle between Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and fast-rising singer Khaid, both of whom are nominees in the Rookie of The Year category.

    The clash began on social media when a Twitter influencer asked who would win the award if it came down to Khaid and Odumodublvck leaving out the other nominees Eltee Skhillz, Bayanni, Guchi, and Bloody Civilian.

    Khaid confidently argued that the statistics and numbers speak for themselves, indicating that he deserves the award.

    “Evian pass Evian, Check d numbers & do the math”, he tweeted.


    However, Odumodublvck seemed to challenge Khaid’s claim and the two artists engaged in a back-and-forth exchange to prove their worthiness for the coveted accolade.

    The Declan Rice crooner who felt insulted by the tweet, threatened to give the singer a knock n the heard. “IF I KNOCK THAT YOUR HEAD.”


    As the Headies Award ceremony draws near, the competition among the nominees intensifies, and fans eagerly await to see who will emerge victorious in the Rookie of The Year category.
