Crayon Announces Release Of Debut Studio Album ‘Trench To Triumph’.
Nigerian Afropop artist and songwriter Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, revealed that his first studio album, “Trench to Triumph,” will be released in July, fans look forward to being delighted by his new work.
Crayon has proven himself to be a phenomenal talent since entering into the mainstream, and with the success of his 2022 hit single ‘Ijo (Laba Laba),’ he positioned himself as a solid chorus master whose talents transcend a record.
The record arrives some years after Crayon made his debut with his eponymous EP, which catapulted him to fame.
He enjoyed a fantastic 2022 with his hit track ‘Ijo (Laba Laba)‘ which was produced by legendary hitmaker Sarz and his part on Mavin’s hit single ‘Overdose‘.
Crayon started 2023 off on a high note with the release of his single ‘The One (Chop Life)’ featuring Yaba Buluku Boyz.
After years on the scene, fans are looking forward to Crayon’s long-awaited first album, which he hopes will propel his career to the next level.
The Mavin Records signee made the announcement of his upcoming project in a post on his social media page on July 2, 2023, along with a few promotional images.
According to the post, Crayon, who joined Mavin Records in 2018, has picked this year’s July as the release month for his first studio album titled ‘Trench to Triumph’.
He wrote in his caption, ‘But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. Behold I present to you my debut album: TRENCH TO TRIUMPH. This july’.
