I like wicked women – Singer, Joeboy
Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, popularly known as Joeboy, has admitted that he likes “wicked women.”
This was revealed by the singer in a recent Stand Out TV interview. Joeboy, however, clarified that he did not mean evil women but “hot energy” women.
He said, “There is this thing I say, I say I like wicked women. When I say wicked, I don’t mean like the person has to be evil. But there’s a certain… I don’t know how to describe it.
“Me saying wicked women is just like… I love women that have this hot energy around them.”
According to him, affirmation and words of comfort are essential in a relationship.

In other news, Joeboy has described how Afrobeats superstar Wizkid gave young Nigerian artists the confidence to think they could be successful while still in their youth.
In a podcast that featured fellow Nigerian musician Odumodublvck and was recently circulated on Twitter, he made this statement.
He claimed that Wizkid’s remarkable success as a young musician inspired many other budding Nigerian musicians to follow their aspirations of being successful musicians at a young age.
Joeboy added that while serving as Mr Eazi’s mentee, he knew the day he met Wizkid that he would be well-known. He remembered Wizkid calling him that day and speaking with him.
He continued by saying that prior to Big Wiz becoming well-known in 2010 when he was only 20 years old, Nigerian artists in the spotlight at the time were those who achieved fame later in life.
With the words “Wizkid is powerful,” Odumodublvck, with whom Joeboy was conversing, confirmed Wizkid’s influence on budding musicians.
