The song “Calm Down” by Nigerian superstar Rema continues to have a strong performance in the US, where it is now the most-played song on US radio.

Since its release, Rema’s ‘Calm Down‘ has enjoyed a steady rise globally which has made it the biggest Afrobeats export internationally.

Rema has continued his impressive run with “Calm Down” becoming the most-played song on US radio after accomplishing an unbelievable achievement with a NO. 3 peak position on the Billboard Hot 100.

The mega-hit outperformed Miley Cyrus’s number-one single “Flowers” on the Billboard Radio list with 97.68 million US impressions, which was enough to propel it to the top of the list.

The song “Calm Down” by Rema and Selena Gomez, which peaked at number one on US Pop radio, had already created history.

It is also the highest-charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100, and it is the second African song after Hugh Masekela of South Africa’s 1968 single “Grazing In The Grass,” which peaked at No. 1 on the chart.

As it continues its unprecedented ascent, “Calm Down” is anticipated to contend for the No. 2 position on the Billboard Hot 100 next week.
