Stonebwoy Overtakes Davido on the Apple Music Chart with New Project.
Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, has dethroned Nigerian superstar Davido on Gold Coast’s Apple music chart.
This is fantastic news for Ghanaians, as Nigerian performers and songs have lately dominated their country’s music scene.
One of the most sought-after projects in West Africa right now is the sixth studio album from the Ghanaian Reggae Act.
Since the release of his much-awaited fifth studio album, “5th Dimension,” Stonebwoy has been racking up sales.
The 17-track album, which included major hitters like Shaggy, Mereba, Davido, Angelique Kidjo, Stormzy, and more, demonstrates Stonebwoy’s ongoing development as a musician and his ability to produce catchy songs.
“5th Dimension” shows Stonebwoy’s continued musical growth when he performs a captivating array of tunes.
Important collaborative works, such as the previously released songs “More Of You” and “Life & Money” with Stormzy, are featured on the album.
These tracks demonstrate Stonebwoy’s brilliance and flexibility as one of the most important musicians in Africa by displaying his capacity to expertly meld several genres, including reggae, hip-hop, Afrobeats, and trap elements.
According to the latest developments, Davido’s blockbuster song “Unavailable,” which has topped Ghana’s Apple music chart since its debut in March, has been surpassed by the ninth track on the album, titled “Into The Future.”
