Rema set to release Debut Album Deluxe, reveals date.
Nigerian Afrorave superstar Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema is set to release the deluxe edition of his debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ as the date has been announced.
This was revealed in a publication by Live Nation Entertainment, which wrote about Rema’s upcoming North American tour.
According to the publication, Rema will drop ‘Rave & Roses (Ultra)’ this Friday (April 28). The deluxe version will include ‘Calm Down (Remix)’ with Selena Gomez, ‘Holiday’, ‘Reason You’, and three new tracks.
The publication read: ‘In addition to the headlining tour, Rema also officially announces the deluxe edition of his debut album Rave & Roses ULTRA, arriving this Friday.
A little over a year after the release of Rema’s debut Rave & Roses he’s back with the deluxe “ULTRA” version which is bulked up with additional hits that Rema that released after the album including the Selena Gomez version of “Calm Down”, “Holiday” and “Reason You.” These three tracks are joined by a further three completely new and unheard tracks’.
Along with the announcement of his tour and the release of his deluxe first album, one of the project’s songs, “Calm Down,” hit one billion combined worldwide streams (original and Selena Gomez versions) on Spotify alone.
It has since surpassed all other African songs to reach the top of the US Singles Chart.
The artist’s debut album has received millions of streams and has won him the international attention he so richly deserves.
The Mavin prince worked on “Rave & Roses” with international superstars including Chris Brown, 6lack, AJ Tracey, and others.
His 16-track debut album is jam-packed with hooks and showcases his range as a musician.
By selling more than 50,000 units, Rema’s “Raves & Roses” became the first African album to be certified Gold in France.
